Hey there!

My name is Nikola Maruszewski (although I often go by Nino), and I am a first-year Computer Science PhD student at Georgia Tech. I am working on embedded systems work with Prof. Josiah Hester in the Ka Moamoa Lab. My goal is to use my systems expertise towards impacful applications in the low-power device space.

Previously, I attended Northwestern University, where I received my BS in CS and my MS in Computer Engineering. There, I worked on Computer Architecture with Prof. Nikos Hardavellas in the PARAG@N Lab. I was also involved in research on compilers for modular quantum systems.

Outside of school, I am an avid swimmer, having swam competitively for 10 years. My other hobbies include reading and tinkering with embedded devices, such as the ESP-32.

My publications can be found here.
